Mikä on LCD-näyttö

Nestekidenäyttö (LCD) is a common display technology used for electronic devices and computer screens. It consists of several transparent, flat, and electrode coated glass plates with liquid crystalline molecular material sandwiched between them. When these crystal molecules are subjected to voltage, they undergo subtle changes in the transmission and refraction of light, resulting in images. LCD technology is different from traditional CRT micro TVs in that it is a non radiative display technology that occupies less space and uses less energy.
